Discover the art of the Luneville tambour embroidery
Bead by bead, thread by thread — learn to create embroidery worthy of the couture ateliers.
This fall
In-person workshops.
Couture embroidery workshops designed for focused, hands-on learning. Beyond learning Lunéville tambour technique, students will explore the materials and thoughtful decision-making behind couture embroidery—developing an understanding of not only how to execute a design, but how to approach and create their own work.
Small-group workshop, allowing time for individual guidance and technique study. Students will also have the opportunity to examine a few couture dresses up close, offering a closer look at how materials, techniques, and design come together in finished pieces.

Beyond executing the pattern itself, students will explore how different materials, textures, colors, and techniques can be combined to interpret a design through embroidery.
No previous embroidery experience is required.
